Buyer Engagement Service Programs



According to industry statistics, over 90% of people who begin the search to buy a business fail to ever complete a purchase. Even worse, the average person looks at business for sale listings for 18 months and still only one in ten will buy a business!

This can be a monumental waste of our time! Every attorney and accountant will charge you a fee at the start of his services even though they cannot guarantee that you will win your lawsuit or that you will not be audited. We are professional and our services are not free. Although many brokers will search and work for free, we do not. You always get what you pay for.


When you are at the top of our priority list, you have our complete attention.  To ask us to work for you free is never going to happen, to ask us to keep you in mind if we come across something interesting and of your criteria is not going to happen: we only work for our priority clients; you will still be looking if you are not one of our priority clients!


We have fees that more than justify the efforts we spend on your behalf. Because most businesses have a minimum $20,000 commission, it is in our best interest to identify a business in which you can create a successful transaction  or we leave money on the table.  See the various types of buyer engagement services we can offer you and select the one that best suits you.


Comprehensive Program. ($25,000) International Business Brokerage and Realty Inc. (Broker) will undertake its Comprehensive Buyer Search Program within the continental U.S. and will act as Manager of the Project as well as Buyer’s Agent on a reasonable efforts basis. This search is designed for buyers seeking businesses with gross revenue greater than $10,000,000. Buyer agrees to pay minimum Project Fee (“minimum successful transaction commission") of $100,000.


Targeted Search Program
. ($10,000) Broker will undertake its Targeted Search Program within the Southeast (up to 5 states) and will act as Manager of the Project as well as Buyer’s Agent on a reasonable efforts basis. This search is designed for buyers looking for businesses with gross revenue between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Buyer agrees to pay minimum Project Fee of $50,000.


Remote Search Program
. ($8,000) Broker will undertake its Remote Buyer Search Program within a specific geographical area agreed upon by Broker and Buyer within the continental U.S. Broker will act as Project Manager and Buyer’s Agent on a reasonable efforts basis. This search is designed for buyers looking for businesses with gross revenue greater than $2,000,000. Buyer agrees to pay minimum Project Fee of $25,000.


Standard Program
. ($5,000) Broker will undertake its Standard Buyer Search Program within Florida and will act as Consultant to and Buyer’s Agent on a moderate efforts basis. This search is designed for buyers looking businesses with gross revenue between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Buyer agrees to pay minimum Project Fee of $20,000.


Basic Program
. ($2,500) Broker will undertake its Basic Buyer Search Program within a predetermined  area as transactional agent on a time-available basis. This search is designed for buyers looking for businesses with gross revenue less than $2,000,000. Buyer agrees to pay minimum Project Fee of $20,000.


Broker offers the following services:

1. Broker will devote necessary amount of time per week on behalf of the buyer.

2. Broker will contact companies in a specified area with an introduction and follow up contacts, as needed, on buyer’s behalf. Mailing will be followed up with a personal phone call.

3. Buyer will be given all leads for companies that fit the profile the buyer has provided.

4. Broker will assist both buyer and seller in the acquisition process.

5. For Standard, Target, and Comprehensive Searches broker will provide buyer with a bi-weekly progress report.

6. Buyer will pay reasonable travel expenses and fees incurred by the Broker if it is necessary for the Broker to travel in order to interview Seller (s) on the Buyer’s behalf. Sellers will be pre-qualified prior to personal interview.

7. Broker will charge the buyer at closing the following Project Fee based on the purchase price:

5% on the first $1,000,000 - 4% on $1,000,001 - $4,999,999
3% on $5,000,000 - $9,999,999 - 2 % on $10,000,000 and above
Buyer agrees to pay minimum $20,000 Project Fee
